A woman’s life is in danger after a stabbing at a motel in Montreal’s west end Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough on Friday.
Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 11:40 a.m. about the incident at a motel on Saint-Jacques Street near Lily-Simon Street.
“The woman was stabbed in the upper body,” said Véronique Dubuc, a spokesperson with Montreal police. “The injuries seem to be serious.”
Police are working to determine a motive leading up to the stabbing.
