The MiO Energy products, which are available nationally, should not be consumed, used, sold, served or distributed.

The affected products are Energy Drink Mix, Tropical Passionfruit, with UPC code 0 683921 5; Energy Drink Mix, Black Cherry, with UPC code 0 683901 1; Energy Drink Mix, Açaí Berry, with UPC code 0 683911 8.

What you should do

  • If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your health-care provider
  • Check to see if you have recalled products
  • Do not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products
  • Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased
  • If you buy food products online, follow these tips and do not assume the products meet Canadian requirements

High levels of caffeine may have adverse health effects for children, pregnant individuals, breastfeeding individuals and those sensitive to caffeine.
