When their partnership started 45 years ago, George Bowser and Rick Blue didn’t know they’d end up in the world of political satire.

But years later, with tunes such as “I’m Glad I live in Canada” and, most recently, “I’M AN ANGLO! (What could go wrong?)” under their belts, the musical comedy duo couldn’t see it any other way.

The pair caught up with hosts Aaron Rand and Bill Brownstein in this latest episode of The Corner Booth, talking language politics and the unifying power of a good joke.

“I think we are a product of this place,” said Blue. “I think that we kept working because there were enough people who we speak to who agree and feel good that somebody’s doing what we do.”
