The Montreal police have released new information as they continue to try to locate a 27-year-old woman who went missing in the Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie borough almost a week ago.

On Tuesday, they released another photograph of Véronique Gauthier as well as a description of the clothing she was wearing when she disappeared Thursday, Aug. 1 at around 8 p.m. She was wearing a long green khaki dress and black sandals.

She was last seen near the intersection of Masson St. and 9th Ave. She tends to travel on foot and, according to police, “her loved ones as well as investigators fear for her health and safety” because of comments she had made.

Gauthier is 5 foot 5 (1.65 m), weighs 145 pounds (65 kilograms), and has red and orange hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos and piercings in her nose and mouth. She wears glasses and speaks French.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or their local police station.
