There’s no place like home. And for Terry DiMonte, home is Quebec.
“That’s the lesson I learned from from leaving: there’s much, much, much more to leaving than you think,” he told Aaron Rand and Bill Brownstein, reflecting on his three years living out of the province.
In this episode of The Corner Booth, former radio host DiMonte explains why he left Quebec for B.C., and why he ultimately came back.
“There’s gonna be ebbs and flows and momentums and swings back and forth,” DiMonte said, referring to Quebec’s language politics. “But I have to say, I think it’s one of the reasons the place is so bloody interesting. The things that they argue about in other places are country are really bland.”
