Third suspect sought by Montreal police in Ahuntsic homicide

Article content

One day after announcing they had arrested two people in connection with the May 14 shooting death of a 27-year-old man in Ahuntsic, Montreal police said Wednesday they are seeking a third suspect.

Police said an arrest warrant has been issued for Dylan Denis, 27, whom they describe as a white male francophone who stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and multiple tattoos on his torso and hands, as well as one on his neck that reads: CRIME PAY$.

On May 14, police answered a gunfire call that led them to a severely wounded man lying on Parc Ave. near Legendre St. in the borough of Ahuntsic–Cartierville. The suspects fled in a vehicle before the arrival of police and the victim was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead. It was the 11th homicide of the year on the island of Montreal.

Anyone with any information that could further the investigation is urged to call 911, contact their local police or call Info-Crime Montreal at 514-393-1133.
