In a communiqué, the SQ said the arrests took place at about 9:20 a.m. on May 29. Officers of the provincial force’s Montreal highway patrol took a 45-year-old man and 29-year-old woman into custody.

Police said they seized various drugs from inside the vehicle including 6 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of heroin, 61 grams of cocaine, 20 Viagra tablets, more than 100 blotters of LSD and more than $2,200 in cash.

The suspects could face charges of possession of narcotics for the purposes of trafficking, impersonation, violation of court ordered conditions and obstruction.

The suspects remain in custody pending their appearance in court via video conference.
