Montreal police have set up a crime scene perimeter on 25th Ave. near Robert Blvd. in the city’s St-Michel district after two men were shot to death early Friday.
Police said they learned of the incident through 911 calls received at 1:50 a.m. Both men, ages 33 and 34, were rushed to hospital in critical condition. Their deaths were announced by police at 9:30 a.m.
The slayings are the 19th and 20th homicides recorded this year on the island of Montreal.
There were no arrests reported and the investigation is continuing.
